Product Overview

The Dell PowerEdge R760 is a 2U, two-socket rack server designed to deliver performance and versatility for demanding enterprise workloads. It supports up to two 5th Generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors, with up to 64 cores per processor, alongside optional Intel QuickAssist Technology for workload acceleration. The system features 32 DDR5 DIMM slots capable of supporting up to 8 TB of RDIMM memory, enabling fast in-memory computing and database analytics.

The R760 offers flexible storage configurations, accommodating up to 24 front-accessible 2.5-inch drives or 12 3.5-inch drives, with additional rear drive options for expanded capacity. It supports multiple PCIe riser configurations with up to 8 PCIe slots, including PCIe Gen5 options for high-bandwidth networking and accelerator support. The server is well-suited for mixed workload standardization, database and analytics, virtual desktop infrastructure, and AI/ML inference applications.

Integrated security features include Silicon Root of Trust, Secure Boot, System Lockdown, and TPM 2.0, while management is handled through iDRAC9 and the OpenManage Enterprise portfolio.
