The Huawei CloudEngine S5736-S24U4XC is a next-generation standard gigabit Ethernet switch designed for enterprise campus networks, particularly suited for healthcare, retail, mining, and ISP industries . It is built on Huawei’s Versatile Routing Platform (VRP) and offers enhanced Layer 3 features, flexible Ethernet networking, and mature IPv6 capabilities .
This model is distinguished by its robust Power over Ethernet (PoE) capability. Each of its 24 downlink ports can deliver up to 90W PoE++, making it ideal for powering high-demand devices such as Wi-Fi 6 access points, pan-tilt-zoom cameras, and other IoT endpoints without the need for separate power wiring . The switch also supports intelligent O&M through telemetry, providing real-time data collection and network fault identification when paired with iMaster NCE-CampusInsight .
