The Lenovo ThinkSystem SR590 is a 2-socket 2U rack server designed for small to midsize businesses that require industry-leading reliability, manageability, and security while balancing performance and expandability. The Intel Xeon Processor Scalable Family (Xeon SP Gen 2) is used in the SR590 server, which provides balanced performance, storage capacity, and I/O expansion. Up to two processors, 1 TB of RAM, 16x 2.5-inch or 14x 3.5-inch drive bays with a wide range of disk technologies, including NVMe SSDs, and versatile I/O expansion options with a LOM slot and up to 6x PCIe slots are all supported by the SR590 server. The SR590 server’s next-generation Lenovo XClarity Controller delivers sophisticated service processor control, monitoring, and alerting functionalities.
